5. Earthbound Adventures
After his far-flung adventures to Trenzalore and beyond, the question here is whether the Doctor might return to travelling more exclusively through time here on Earth rather than the far reaches of space. We've seen the Doctor remain earthbound in the Classic series (albeit due to budget constraints), as well as during significant parts of Russell T. Davies' run. With the mystery of Clara Oswin Oswald solved, isn't it possible that the Doctor and his Companion, these two extraordinary people, might return to Earth? Some of the greatest adventures of the 11th Doctor have happened on Earth, including my personal favorite of Smith's run, The Eleventh Hour.
