Doctor Who: 8 Possibilities For Series 8

4. Classic Adversaries

doctor-who-pandorica-opens-3 This one is more or less a foregone conclusion. It's no secret that showrunner Steven Moffat is a huge Classic Who fan, and isn't afraid to show it in his work. We're already assured of a Classic monster, [ REDACTED - SPOILERS, SWEETIE] in the 50th Anniversary, and that trend is likely to continue with Series 8. Moffat isn't likely to repeat major stories already told during Davies' run, so we probably won't see characters like The Master, but that doesn't preclude the appearance (or reappearance) of other creatures from the Who-niverse.
