Doctor Who: 8 Reasons A Female Master Isn't The End Of The World

Man, she feels like a woman.

Hey Missy, she's so fine, she's so fine, she blows our mind, hey Missy... hey Missy! That's what most Doctor Who fans across the land have been singing since Michelle Gomez was revealed as the latest incarnation of the Master during the Series 8 finale but for many others it was the beginning of the end as far as their devotion to the series goes. It's safe to say that the renegade Time Lord's return as the opposite sex has proven to be a somewhat controversial development amongst the more vocal members of the show's community, which is pretty much all of them so you can imagine how loud it got in the initial aftermath. It's certainly an almighty change for the series to introduce to its mythology but those who have accepted Missy in her new form fail to understand why it's such a big deal. It was always going to cause an uproar but to say you're never going to watch the series again as a result is a pretty extreme response. It's obviously not true either, so you're only lying to yourself. For all the naysayers, here are 8 reasons why a female Master isn't the end of the world. Actually, it's the start of a very, very exciting new one.
