Doctor Who: 8 Reasons To Hate Moffat More Than You Already Do

1. Ruining Your Favourite Characters Since 2010

The Doctor is by no means the only cherished character in the Whoniverse but Moffat has made sure to taint most of them in some haphazard way. Considering this is a man who claimed that Classic Who was slow, dated and embarrassing, it€™s not surprising that his handling of the original concept has led to a supernova of angry controversy in the Who realms. And it seems not even the best loved characters can escape Moffat€™s fiendish grip, either. Amy and Rory hopped aboard the TARDIS and into our hearts in Series 5 and brought with them hopes of strong, independent development and fresh life to the companion title. Unfortunately, though, Moffat had other ideas as he generally prefers his female leads to be emotionally confused and in love with the Doctor, whilst poor Rory ended up serving as the comic relief and little else. Saying that, with all the gloomy repetitiveness of Moffat€™s writing, a bit of comic relief might do nicely for Whovians right about now. What did you think of this list? Are these reasons to hate Steven Moffat justified? Are there any others that should have been included? Let us know in the comments section below.
