Doctor Who: 8 Reasons To Hate Moffat More Than You Already Do

2. The Doctor€™s God-Like Status

With everything the Doctor has been through, anyone would end up with a bit of a God complex. But the Doctor is the Doctor, nothing more and nothing less, and on many occasions he has corrected anyone who tried to treat him otherwise (just try to salute him and you€™ll find out!). It seems as though Moffat might have lost sight of the real message of Doctor Who in an attempt to establish the Doctor, quite literally, as the centre of his own universe. Our dearest physician in a blue box has gradually become more dismissive of his companions (leaving River trapped in the grasp of a Weeping Angel and telling her to try her best not to break her wrist, in half, might be considered a little dismissive!), and through the Matt Smith and Capaldi regenerations, he has been given a little too much wiggle room in regards to his morals, which might not be to every fan€™s taste. Most of Moffat€™s villains appear to be obsessed with the Doctor and little else, too. Though who can blame them? The Doctor is fantastic, after all...
