Doctor Who: 8 Things We Know About The Next Three Episodes

1. Kill The Moon Will Change Everything

€œI still don€™t know how people will take it. I€™m in this kind of limbo now waiting for people to see it, and I€™ve no idea, really I do not know how it is going to go down€€ €œI€™ve never seen the Doctor do something like this before€€ €“ Peter Harness
Whovians have learned to be wary about sweeping declarations of change (especially if it€™s not coming from the lead writer) but Peter Harness has revealed that Kill The Moon will apparently be huge turning point for both Clara and the Doctor, thanks to an as yet unrevealed dilemma and actions taken by the Doctor. This is a surprising move for Episode 7 as such a significant shakeup of the Doctor-Companion dynamic and huge move for the programme would usually be brought into play closer to the end of the series. But Steven Moffat€™s Who has been known for making its own rules and stepping away from convention so perhaps something like this shouldn€™t be such a big shock to the system. Particularly since Series 6 saw the Doctor and the Ponds parting ways (albeit not permanently) in Episode 11. The question of the hour now though is just what is this dilemma that€™s going to change everything. The plot of the episode is an attempt to nuke the moon which already makes it clear how high the stakes are but just what is the Doctor going to have to do? The smart money is on killing the astronauts trying to destroy the moon or letting Courtney die, but it€™s just doesn€™t seem like enough of a rug being pulled from beneath us moment for an episode from the Moffat era. Got any info about these episodes that we missed? Excited for the shift to much darker storytelling? Let us know in the commets section below...
