Doctor Who: 9 Reasons Why Rose Doesn't Deserve Any Of The Hate

7. She Was An Ordinary Human Who Saved The World

Doctor Who Rose Rose's drama was believable for its ordinary importance. You'd think that the death of one ordinary man doesn't seem like much, but when Rose stopped it it was enough to destroy the world--just like, when we lose someone we love, it feels like the end of the world because in a way, it is. Boyfriends got clingy, and she ran off to live her life. Her Mom was uncomfortable with her life choices. And the Doctor, the future, was waiting for her. These dramas are important for their mundanity. There's no such thing as an ordinary human, or someone who isn't important. By the logic of the show, Rose's ordinariness was the same as being extraordinary.
