Doctor Who: 9 Ways Of Accepting A Brand New Doctor

8. Never Say Never Ever

Doctorwhoringsofakhaten2 Following the phase of severe denial over the end of Doctor Who as you know it, you€™re tempted to be reckless. After all, there would be no point in television once your Doctor has left now, would there? Heck, there would even be no point to the internet, now that you think about it (though you immediately take that back). You go through a nervous breakdown every time you see jelly babies or wear 3D glasses for a movie or see mannequins in a retail store or... well, the list goes on, really. Every memory is like a nightmare to your latent misgivings which soon begin to border on an alarming level as you tread through this miserable wormhole alone. All those little quirks and familiar catchphrases complete with endlessly unforgettable sweet-points are reduced to ashes and even more ashes as you sit in front of the television in a screaming match, never to take part in this emotional rollercoaster again. There would be nothing more painful than watching the same man with a new face (and as of recently, new kidneys) go on adventures that you knew were reserved for your Doctor. After a constant wavering between €œShould I or should I not?€, you end up deciding to watch, just for the heck of it. After all, what's the worst that could happen? You€™ll only just be watching the first episode. That would be it, and that is what leads you to the next step.
