Doctor Who: Every Doctor Kiss Ranked Worst To Best

The 1996 Doctor Who TV Movie is a bit of a mixed bag. Paul McGann's incarnation of the Time Lord is pretty great but the story left a lot to be desired.

One of the complaints that longtime Whovians had, was that it simply didn't feel like the classic show that they had loved and that everything had been too Americanised. One such case of this, was a kiss shared between The Doctor and companion Grace Holloway.

Many viewers were left in disbelief at what they were watching and Steven Moffat recalls there being a huge controversy about it at the time. But as the years have gone on, more and more fans warmed to the idea of The Doctor being involved in romance. Russell T Davies admitted he never had a problem with The Doctor kissing anyone, which goes some way to explain why his era had so much of it.

Without this pivotal kiss, we would likely never have seen any of the other entries on this list and the revival series as we know it, would look very, very different.
