Doctor Who: Every Doctor Kiss Ranked Worst To Best
6. The Tenth Doctor And Donna Noble
Truly one of the best and funniest scenes of the Russell T Davies era of Doctor Who.
One of the great things that made the Tenth Doctor and Donna Noble the best Doctor/companion relationship of the revival, was the lack of romance between the two. After watching Rose, Martha and numerous one-off characters fall in love with Ten, it made for a pleasant change to have someone travel in the TARDIS who was just a mate to The Doctor.
It's what makes their kiss in Series 4's The Unicorn And The Wasp a laugh-out-loud moment. After The Doctor is poisoned, Donna and Agatha Christie attempt to cure him, in a scene that shows off Tennant and Catherine Tate's comedic skills. When Ten says that he needs a big shock to detox himself, the only thing Donna can think to do is snog him.
It works much to the relief (and confusion) of everyone. Tate's face afterwards is priceless, as is Tennant's little quip at the end:
"I must do that more often. I mean... uh the detox."
