A villains list wouldn't be complete without the customary dastardly Brit, and Ferdinand Kingsley displays all of the classic conniving traits as Captain Neville Catchlove.
He humiliates Colonel Godsacre by cruelly exposing his desertion in front of all the troops, and does it with a self-satisfied look on his face. Catchlove shows callous disregard for anyone else's life by shoving the likeable Vincey - a young soldier who was planning on getting married - in front of an Ice Warrior's fatal blast. All that was left for the cowardly captain to do was twirl his moustache for the full repertoire.
