Should Michael Sheen ever be cast as the Doctor then we know he could easily portray the darker hues of the character. The Welshman convincingly conveys the malevolence that is House, a sentient asteroid that killed hundreds of Time Lords, and fed on their TARDISes Artron energy.

Sheen's voicing of House is on a powerful par with Gabriel Woolf's Beast from The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit. Unfortunately, what's also all too similar are the pair's disappointing demises. But here's a wibbly-wobbly thought: what if the TARDIS didn't entirely expel House's consciousness? What if he's still lurking about somewhere in the deepest recesses (squash court eight for example) and somehow in some spacey-wacey way hijacks a regeneration, and emerging from the glowing green energy: Michael Sheen as the Valeyard!
