Doctor Who: Every Tenth Doctor Episode Ranked From Worst To Best

6. The Stolen Earth/Journey's End

Doctor Who The End of Time

Epic is a word which cannot quite explain the enormity of these two seminal episodes of Doctor Who.

For his last series finale, Russell T Davies brought together all of the Doctor's previous companions, the main characters from Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures, and former Prime Minister Harriet Jones.

It's not just heroes that Davies brings back though. The big (and rather obvious) reveal in The Stolen Earth confirms that Davros survived the Time War and has teamed up with his Dalek creations to destroy planets in an exercise of mass genocide. Julian Bleach's Davros, who moves from crazed rants to allowing us to sympathise with the man held captive by his own creation, is one of the best villain performances in Doctor Who history.

Other standout moments include the regeneration tease at the end of The Stolen Earth, and the heartwarming scene in Journey's End where we see all the companions flying the Tardis. This is blockbuster Doctor Who at its very best.
