Doctor Who: Every Thirteenth Doctor Episode Ranked From Worst To Best
17. Resolution
Resolution isn’t half bad, giving us a relatively fresh take on the Daleks by having one spend most of the episode outside its shell. You’d be wrong to assume, however, that this lone, exposed Dalek was any less of a threat.
When it does eventually get its casing back, we see just how catastrophic and devastating a single Dalek can be, harking back to their first appearance in the 2005 revival.
Ultimately, this story is dragged down by some rather poor side plots, a microwave-ex-machina, and a boomer-humour cutaway joke that marked an absolute low in terms of understanding the show’s target demographic.
