Doctor Who: Every Thirteenth Doctor Episode Ranked From Worst To Best

16. The Woman Who Fell To Earth

Doctor Who Jodie Whittaker Thirteenth Doctor Sacha Dhawan Master
BBC Studios

Jodie’s very first episode is actually pretty good, introducing us to a fairly likeable supporting cast (and promptly killing the most interesting one before they can join the TARDIS team).

Tim Shaw works much better here as a background villain, with the highlight of the episode being the moment where he is bombarded with salad by a drunken Northerner.

This made a fairly strong first impression, but on reflection, it's still packed to the brim with the tropes and Chibnallisms that would define and plague much of the coming era.
