Doctor Who Flux: 14 Best Easter Eggs You Might've Missed

5. The Return Of The Mid-Credits Tease

Though Doctor Who always has "next time" trailers at the end of the credits, having a scene in the middle of the credits isn't something it does very often at all.

As a result, you might think that Village Of The Angels' mid-credits tag (in which the screen glitches out, leading to a scene where Vinder responds to Bel's hologram) is the only time the show has done something like this, but that's not the case.

Over seven years earlier, the credits of Series 8 finale Death In Heaven were interrupted by Nick Frost's Santa Claus, knocking on the door of the TARDIS and telling the Twelfth Doctor "it can't end like that!"

This curious scene led directly into 2014's Last Christmas, which, for our money, is the second-best Doctor Who Christmas special ever.

He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
