Doctor Who: Flux - 15 Huge Details We Just Learned About Series 13

7. The Doctor Visits An Impossible Planet

Despite being filmed under COVID restrictions, Series 13 doesn't seem to have lost one of Doctor Who's most important staples: location variety.

Multi-part stories aside, each series of NuWho has visited a different planet, spaceship, or historical period in every single episode, and based purely on that recent trailer, Series 13 looks to be following suit.

One intriguing location that's been teased via an official BBC synopsis is a planet called Atropos, which, apparently, "shouldn’t even exist." The Doctor has dealt with impossible planets before of course, although we don't yet know why this one is such an oddity.

In Greek mythology, Atropos is a goddess of fate and destiny - so make of that what you will!

Danny has been with WhatCulture for almost nine years, and is currently Doctor Who Editor and WhoCulture Channel Manager, overseeing all of WhatCulture's Whoniverse coverage. He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
