Doctor Who Review: Face The Raven – 8 Ways To Compound The Crime

1. Behind The Scenes

€œFace the Raven€ succeeds not only because of the beautifully nuanced performances of its leads but also due to the skill and heart of the production staff. Writer Sarah Dollard is the third woman to write for New Doctor Who and the second this series. It€™s hard to believe this is her first Who script as her style fits so well within the confines of the Doctor€™s story. Director Justin Molotnikov does a superior job of framing each performance and making sure the action keeps moving at the correct pace. Murray Gold€™s score is a revelation, gripping and heartbreaking by turns and never overpowering what is happening on screen. €œFace The Raven€ is the perfect end to Clara€™s journey and an episode that will be talked about for a long, long time.
