Doctor Who Series 11: 4 Ups & 3 Downs From 'It Takes You Away'

3. Graham's Reaction To Seeing Grace Again

Doctor Who It Takes You Away
BBC

Graham is by-far the best-developed companion in this series, and absolutely the most lovable. However, when it came to Grace physically re-appearing in the mirror universe, Graham approaches the situation in a way very different to how usual companions do. He didn't take on the naive approach, taking everything at face value. As we've seen from Graham already, he questioned her existence, and only after some pretty hefty questions, he began to believe her to be real.

Even when The Doctor reveals she isn't real, Graham doesn't let his established position on her cloud his judgement. He trusts The Doctor, and believes her saying this was all a trap to be true. Graham is a strong character, even when put up against essentially losing Grace again. Hats off to Bradley Walsh.
