Doctor Who Series 7: 10 Reasons To Be Excited

Here's why we should be counting down the hours until the channel logo fades and the first forty-five minutes of frantic Doctor Who action bombards the senses?

1. Scary Daleks

It is safe to say that the Daleks have gone from the ultimate adversary of the Doctor to rather sub-standard, easily defeated tin cans on wheels and air jets. However in series opener, Asylum of The Daleks, Matt Smith has virtually promised that Steven Moffat has brought the fear factor back to the worn-down mechanicisms of evil genius Davros€™ creations. €œWe have made the Daleks scary again, something I am not sure we got right before,€ Matt Smith said in an interview with TV Guide. We hope he is right as it is about time the Daleks were brought in from the cold, and according to early reviews, Moffat might just have succeeded in giving them a new lease of life.
