Doctor Who Series 7: 10 Reasons To Be Excited

3. Guest Stars

One thing Doctor Who has not been short of is guest stars. In the last few years we€™ve had a diverse range of faces from the world of entertainment including Kylie Minogue, Peter Kay, Timothy Dalton, Mark Gatiss, Sir Derek Jacobi, Simon Pegg, Michael Sheen, Katherine Jenkins and even news reader Huw Edwards and MP Anne Widdecombe. For series 7 we have been promised just as impressive a collection of special appearances from Adrian Scarborough, Ben Browder, Jessica Raine, David Warner, Liz White, Liam Cunningham, Dougray Scott, Richard E Grant, Rupert Graves, Mark Williams, and mother and daughter Dame Diana Rigg and Rachel Sterling appearing on screen together for the first time. Is there really any more to be said? Well, yes, but we€™ll have to hold that back until the second part of the series.
