1. A Regeneration?
Surely the biggest question of Series 10 is whether it will be Peter Capaldi's last, particularly as - specials aside - his predecessors only did three series each. The actor has made no bones about the fact that shooting the series is exhausting, but don't let the fact that he is one of the oldest people to play the Doctor fool you; he is a lifelong fan and is fully committed to the show each year - the longer break between Series Nine and Ten may convince him to sign on for a fourth year. If he outlasts Moffat, Capaldi would be the first Doctor to transition to a new showrunner - though it is doubtful he would stay on beyond Chibnall's first series. In 2017, the theme of Series 10 will be marked by whether the Doctor regenerates or not, and for now Capaldi is definitely staying quiet on the matter... What are your hopes for Series 10? Are you happy or sad to see Moffat go, and do you think it will be Capaldi's last? Let us know in the comments below...
