9. Clara - The Friend Inside The Enemy, The Enemy Inside The Friend
Is Clara a hybrid? The Witch's Familiar chillingly returned to her debut episode, putting her inside a Dalek. There was certainly an element of Oswin in Asylum Of The Daleks being a hybrid; she retained her emotional human core even when fused inside the body of the Dalek she was in. Here Clara Prime almost met the same fate.
“The friend inside the enemy, the enemy inside the friend: everyone’s a bit of both.” Missy made this rather prophetic statement to the Doctor, suggesting perhaps that she knows something about Clara he doesn't. After all she chose her, she gave Clara the Doctor's number. What if there is something fans have missed?
Is Clara a hybrid and is this linked to her departure at the end of the current series? It is certainly something to ponder over the remaining three weeks...
