3. 'The Next Doctor' Showed That Cybermen In The Christmas Snow Was Pretty Awesome...
Okay, so maybe the Cyber-King was a step to far. I enjoyed it but it's rather silly. Then again...it was a Christmas episode, so it can kind of get away with it. What I am talking about of course, is that excellence sequence where the Cybermen march through the graveyard, killing off the gentlemen Miss Hartigan had assembled. Stomping through the snow, this was the closest Nu Who has come making them a terrifying force. It might not have been my favourite Christmas episode of Doctor Who (that award goes to 'A Christmas Carol') but the Cybermen in the graveyard might be my favourite Christmas special moment to date. If we have more of that menace, mixed with the 'traditional Christmassy imagery, a Cybermen Christmas special could be a corker.
