This is one of those narmy moments that are only narm when you think about them for a minute or two. So Dr. Simian, a Victorian gentleman whose only experience with the extraterrestrial is talking snow trying to mimic human form, meets Madame Vastra. He pulls back her veil, looks at her, and says a woman. Thats his take away?!? SHE IS A LIZARD. A WALKING TALKING GIANT LIZARD. And he thinks the important bit is the woman? Victorians were weird. Also the bit with the suspiciously intimate associateyou think the Great Detective and his suspiciously intimate associate got married too?
