Doctor Who: The IMPOSSIBLE Time Lord Quiz

The Time Lords of Doctor Who are an ancient and powerful race. How much can you remember about them?

Despite the frequency of his visits to the planet Earth, the mysterious time traveller known only as the Doctor is not actually human. Although some of the earlier Doctor Who TV stories contradict this a little, the broadly accepted canon these days is that the Doctor hails from the planet Gallifrey and is a member of an ancient race called the Time Lords.

Their portrayal over the series' long history has varied, to say the least. Depending on the writer, they can be shadowy overlords manipulating temporal events for reasons unknown, pathetic bickering bureaucrats who have shut themselves off from the rest of the universe, or even deranged dictators who are willing to destroy entire planets if it means a chance at survival.

With all these different onscreen representations, it can be hard to keep the long and storied history of the Gallifreyan population straight in your mind. But there are certain facts about them that have remained constant for the past few decades.

Can you remember what part of the galaxy Gallifrey is in? Who leads the Time Lords? And in what episode did they first appear?

Read on to see if you can earn the right to call yourself a true Time Lord genius.
