Doctor Who: Top 10 Christmassy Moments

7. Wilf's Wiggle

After being introduced in Voyage of the Damned and returning to take the coveted companion spotlight in David Tennant's final two-part adventure, the beloved character of Wilfred Mott is one that fans now heavily associate with the Christmas season, and no doubt his little festive wiggle - reindeer hooves and all - in The End of Time - played a big part in that! Sensing that another festive alien excursion was imminent after a series of bad dreams, Donna's ever resourceful grandfather, played by the delightful Bernard Cribbins, sought out to reunited with the Doctor by enlisting the help of his enthusiastic 'Silver Cloak' of old age pensioners. After a successful minibus mission to find the Time Lord, it was to be a Christmas full of heartbreak for Wilfred, who, after aiding the Doctor in his fight to save Earth from the malevolent Master and a tyranny of Time Lords (to cut a very long story short), he ended up getting himself locked inside a radiation booth and the Doctor's subsequent selfless act of saving him resulted in the Time Lord's latest regeneration. For God's sake, Wilf! Oh well. Life goes on, as they say, and with moves like this, fans couldn't stay angry with Wilf for long. Tumblr Lqk75vtsod1qi2120 Gif
