Doctor Who: What Your Favourite Companion Says About You

4. Amelia Pond

The Companion: Amy Pond, aka The Girl who Waited (on more than one occasion.) Her existence seems to be the primary reason that the human race ever developed the word 'Feisty'. Amy comes in for a bit of stick from some quarters due to the way her two and a half seasons with the Doctor were structured. On a fundamental level, that entire time was designed as a lever stretched between Rory and the Doctor, with Amy as its fulcrum point. The entire point of that era was seeing how long Amy could manage to avoid being forced to choose between the two of them. Because of this it occasionally seemed like the show was more about Amy than it was about the Doctor. Which, to be fair, it sort of was. Regardless of that, Amy proved herself regularly to be capable, energetic, loyal, and a true friend to the Doctor.Notable Achievement: Amy, in addition to having the best boyfriend/fiance/husband in the history of the world, is notable for being the first companion in the history of the program to observe signs that a time traveler is on their way to her and know that the first thing she should do is go and buy wine. What Liking Her Best Says About You: You see yourself as tough and no-nonsense, and you appreciate how much there is in the universe to see and experience. An unfortunate side effect of this is that you also have a tendency to try to avoid making difficult decisions for as long as possible because you're always thinking about the road not traveled. You have a streak of iron in you and your friends know that you'll always have their back.
