Dragon Ball Z: Ranking Goku's 10 Best Fights

2. Majin Vegeta

Round 2! The most-highly anticipated rematch in Dragon Ball history and a tale between two friends and foes that defined a series.

This time under the control of Babidi and the Majin Vegeta moniker, the most powerful rendition of the Saiyan warrior used his new found form to finally get his hands on Kakarot once again, embarking on an epic war of the greatest characters of the series.

After revealing to Goku that he had let Babidi infiltrate his mind on purpose, to garner the unhinged, ruthless power of his old evil mindset, Vegeta goes absolutely ham on his rival as he tries to prove once and for all that he is the superior warrior.

In typical Goku fashion, the hero continually attempts to talk Vegeta out of it, reminding him of his family and the positive life he has taken on since moving away from his villainous past. But to no avail.

The two go hammer and tongs over and over again, matching each other at every turn as they continue to up the ante as the war rages on. Exhaustion gets to them both, but Vegeta's rage and determination give him the upper hand, despite Kakarot's rise up the Super Saiyan levels throughout.

It's fitting that there is no victor in this battle of equals. The two agree to halt their war when Majin Buu becomes present as a separate threat, finally bringing their heated personal war to an end.
