Dragons' Den: 5 Replacements For Theo Paphitis

4. Simon Woodroffe

yo sushi Simon Woodroffe is perhaps better known as the founder of the award winning sushi chain YO! Sushi which he set up in 1997. There, he established the company as the market leader of sushi restaurants, branching out into a franchise of 12 chains which stretch as far as Dubai. Woodroffe sold his controlling interest in YO! Sushi in a £10 million deal in 2003 and currently speaks around the world at corporate and promotional events. He might also be remembered for his brief and somewhat forgettable stint on Dragons' Den way back when the series' first aired in 2005. He only made the one investment and that came in Episode 4 of the first series in which he funded a £75,000 truffle farm. Would he be open to the idea of a return to the series?
