Each Attack On Titan Season Ranked From Worst To Best
1. Season 3 Part 2
When looking at the IMDB ratings for each episode, none from the second half of season 3 dip below a score of 9.0, and there is a reason for this. The second half builds on what we have seen already in the season, but also compellingly returns to some of the show's simplicity, before completely altering not only the narrative but the show's future, past and present.
The animation has never been better, concepts have been expanded and explored in new ways, and the characters have never felt more real. The second half of season 3 truly takes every aspect of what made the show great up until now and homogenises them all into a beautiful series arc that has the audience fighting to maintain their composure amongst the excitement and heartbreak the show eludes.
Every character is given meaningful moments, and the strategy from the side of the titans is at its peak here. However the reveal of a question asked since the very first episode, that being what is inside Eren's fathers' basement, not only pays off but truly takes the audience by surprise and drives the show in a new direction which every fan is excited to see in season 4.
