Emmys 2017 Nominations: 15 Major Shocks & Snubs

5. Snub: Jodie Comer (Supporting Actress In A Limited Series – Killing Eve)

Twin Peaks Emmys
BBC America

Killing Eve has been one of the most enthralling drama series in recent memory, and everyone has been talking about Jodie Comer's wonderful performance in the show. While many of us expected her to get nominated for Supporting Actress in A Limited Series, she ultimately did not receive a nomination.

The fact that Comer's co-star Sandra Oh received a nomination makes Comer's omission rather evident, because the two women play the series' two protagonists. Since she has received a lot of acclaim for her role in the show, Comer's omission is rather unusual.

The young actress has made a name for herself over the past few years, with starring roles in some of the world's biggest drama series, including Doctor Foster and The White Princess, before landing Killing Eve. An Emmy nomination would've been yet another accomplishment for Comer, but it clearly wasn't meant to be.
