One of the best moments of the night saw the cast of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia - Charlie Day, Danny DeVito, Glenn Howerton, Rob McElhenney, and Kaitlin Olson - take to the stage to present the award for Outstanding Talk Series.

The Gang hilariously made some light-hearted cracks about the fact that It's Always Sunny hasn't ever received even a single major nomination despite its wide acclaim and status as the longest-running live-action American sitcom in history.

To rub salt in the wound, DeVito and McElhenney pointed out that they both have Emmys for Taxi and Welcome to Wrexham respectively, much to the playful chagrin of Day, Howerton, and Olson.

In retort, the trio then vowed to head backstage and steal some awards they clearly felt so deserving of.

And let's be honest, while It's Always Sunny is the furthest thing imaginable from "prestige TV," the fact it's only ever been nominated for Emmys in the Outstanding Stunt Coordination category is absurd.
