Every 2016 Netflix Exclusive TV Show Ranked Worst To Best

13. Love (Season 1)

House Of Cards Stranger Things Daredevil
Netflix

Judd Apatow co-created this unconventional romantic comedy series that defiantly undermines the tropes viewers will associate with both the genre and Apatow's own movies, opting for something a little darker, more nebulous and challenging.

This may not serve it particularly well with more mainstream audiences, but for those keen for something harder to pin down, Love's difficult engagements with modern-day romance may become eventually entranced by its slow-burn.

Splintering off in unexpected directions while girded by excellent work from leads Paul Rust and Gillian Jacobs, Love may feel a little on the overlong side at times with some episodes hovering close to 40 minutes, but for patient viewers, the rewards are self-evident.
