Every Big Mouth Main Character Ranked
3. Missy Foreman-Greenwald
Missy is perhaps the most likeable character in the show. She is charmingly naïve and sweet as a result. An intelligent young woman with open minded and educated parents, Missy suffers from the same insecurities and uncertainties that plague many of us during adolescence. These are represented by “Mirror Missy”, her reflection which points out her insecurities and compares her unfavourably to other women.
Unlike many characters in the show however, Missy tends to learn from her mistakes and doesn’t so easily give in to bad impulses. She is often placed in opposition of her classmates who tend to bully her but she doesn’t let this bring her down.
Initially played by Jenny Slate and then actress Ayo Edebiri, the character has continued to grow and mature throughout the show but retains her kind nature and naïveté. Most of her humour revolves around her tendency to babble when she is insecure or feels awkward, as well as her hyperactivity whenever she consumes sugar.
