Every Black Mirror Episode Ranked Worst To Best
7. Crocodile
After helping her friend cover up a fatal hit-and-run, Mia Nolan (Andrea Riseborough) lives with her secret past until the day comes when her friend talks about admitting their crime.
From here, Mia goes on an incredibly dark journey of murder and deceit as her secrets start to catch her up and an insurance investigator (Kiran Sonia Sawar) begins to hunt her down with a device that allows her to read people's memories.
Grim to the nth degree, Crocodile sports a brilliant character study courtesy of Riseborough's unhinged and unravelling performance, and enough intensity and thrills to keep itself afloat even in its most horrific moments, of which there are many.
Crocodile is all about guilt, memory and obsession, and though it ends on a particularly nasty note - even by Black Mirror standards - it's still one of the show's most unforgettable and intrepid episodes.
