Simplicity can often be the key to carving great characters, and these two are an absolute testament to that. While the Salamanca cousins might not have had the most influence over the show, they were still two of the scariest villains thanks to their slow stalking, cold killer instincts and lack of speech.

Marco and Leonel - commonly referred to as The Cousins - set out to get revenge after their cousin Tuco's death. Without uttering a word, this pair organised and played out a plan which almost saw them kill Walter before he'd even become a legend in the crime game.

These two were responsible for some absolute barbarism in the show, such as the horrifying decapitation of Tortuga and a dramatic attempt to kill Hank. Still, their scariest scene had to be when they quietly invaded the White's home and patiently sat on the bed wielding an axe, prepared to brutally execute Walter with not a semblance of remorse or emotion on their faces.

The Cousins always acted with this lack of emotion, as they were stoic and calm, no matter what horrific crimes they were committing. Even to this day, these twins are bone-chilling to watch.
