Every Dragon Ball Z Villain Ranked Worst To Best

2. Vegeta

Kid Buu, Dragon Ball Z
Toei Animation

The Prince of all Saiyans, Vegeta, is not only one of the best villains the show has ever seen, but also one of the best characters.

When we first come across Vegeta, in the very beginning of the show, he travels to Earth in order to use the Dragon Balls to wish for eternal life.

He believes himself to be the strongest Saiyan to ever live, and refuses to believe that anyone could be stronger than him. After he meets Goku, he wants nothing more than to be stronger than him.

Vegeta's quest to become stronger than Goku is what fuels him the entirety of Dragon Ball Z. He is constantly training, constantly trying to one up Goku and be on top. And while he may become an anti-hero for most of the show, he does embrace the evil side of things once again while dealing with Majin Buu.

Vegeta allows himself to be taken control of by Babidi to once again embrace the evil in himself. Thanks to this Vegeta is able to become stronger than ever, however it is short lived. Vegeta eventually sacrifices himself against Majin Buu in one of the greatest moments of the series.

It may have been awhile since Vegeta was considered a true villain in the series, but his character is nonetheless one of the best to ever appear, with his time as a villain being some of the most memorable of the series.
