Every Dragon Ball Z Villain Ranked Worst To Best
1. Frieza
When it comes to Dragon Ball Z, the one villain most will immediately think of is Frieza. He has the series longest fight with Goku, pushing him past his limits and caused him to turn Super Saiyan for the first time.
Their battle on the exploding and fiery Namek is the most iconic of the series, and one of the most iconic anime battles of all time.
Frieza is also brought back countless times. We see him come back as Mecha Frieza shortly after his death, and killed shortly after. There's also his return in Dragon Ball Super which brought about a brand new, and more powerful transformation in the likes of Golden Frieza.
When he first appears, no one in the Dragon Ball saga was close, or was ever close to his power. Eventually we know this changes, but at first Frieza was the endgame villain. His power eclipsed all those around him, and we knew the fights with him were going to be epic, which they were.
Of course not to be outdone, while other villains have had transformations under their belt, Frieza was the first to pull out multiple. Just when it was believed he had been outmatched, he got even stronger. His Final Form (pictured above) has since become his iconic look.
Because of his personality, multiple transformations and fights with Goku, Frieza has become the most iconic Dragon Ball Z villain.
