Refreshingly simple and touching, Lucky 13 is one of Love, Death & Robots' more hopeful tales, and a bracingly thrilling one at that, with gorgeous battle sequences and electric narration from Wiley.

Some Love, Death & Robots fail because their premise is too thin, but Lucky 13 actually benefits from its lack of wider context -- it tells the story it needs to without straining itself too hard, and finishes before overstaying its welcome.
