Every Power Rangers Series Ranked From Worst To Best
11. Power Rangers R.P.M
One of the biggest grievances viewers have with the entire franchise is the familiarity. While each show does give a new take on the formula, introducing new characters and concepts, they ultimately feel the same. However, RPM easily stands out as one of the most original and unique settings in the entire franchise.
If you ever wondered what a post-apocalyptic world would look like through rose-tinted glasses, then you've got it here. RPM was set inside the domed city of Corinth, in a world where a computer virus has built an army of robotic soldiers and taken over the world. It's the Rangers job to ensure the safety of this city, and its citizens.
The post-apocalyptic techno vibes of this series gave the Rangers a dark and compelling new location, so it's a shame that the show received pretty low-ratings. Alongside the great set-pieces were some strong characters and a great vehicular focus that helped the series feel pulse-pounding and exhilarating.
Ironically, you may be wondering what RPM stands for, but it was never actually addressed on the show. However, certain materials on the Bandai website confirmed that it stood for "Racing Performance Machines", go figure.
