Every Power Rangers Series Ranked From Worst To Best

10. Power Rangers Ninja Storm

Legendary Battle Power Rangers
Saban Entertainment

In a similar vein to Lightspeed Rescue, this series was notable for bringing many firsts to the property. This likely came from the fact that it was the first Power Rangers series to be entirely produced by Disney after they acquired the franchise during the running of Wild Force. Naturally, this change in ownership was noticeable.

While the previous entries in the franchise were full of goofy humour and silliness, the narratives themselves were often surprisingly dark and full of peril. However, Ninja Storm opted to focus on a lighter-hearted story, which was divisive at first. But, once viewers had gotten used to the new direction, it was very easy to get sucked into the show's charm.

Ninja Storm was the first season to start with only three Rangers, with the team expanding later in the series. It also marked the debut of the full ninja/samurai concept - which would also be used in later versions. Additionally, it was the first time that every Ranger had powers when unmorphed, and those are just a few of the changes to the property.

While there were some teething troubles with the new ownership, Ninja Storm was a big commercial success and marked a new era for the Rangers.
