Every Power Rangers Series Ranked From Worst To Best
4. Power Rangers Lost Galaxy
Power Ranger fans owe a lot to Lost Galaxy, as the fantastic series was the first to feature an entirely new team and a wholly original narrative separate from the Zordon Era - which had been the story for every season thus far.
Originally, Power Rangers In Space was set to be the end of the franchise, but after the finale's roaring success, Saban chose to keep the franchise going and begin to reinvent the Rangers with separate stories each season. Lost Galaxy stuck to the space theme that had been so overwhelmingly well-received, and continued the darker tones and ambition that had been set out before it.
Seeing an entirely new set of Rangers take on the evil forces of Scorpius, with only some threadbare allusions to the previous seasons was an incredibly new direction for the franchise. However, none of the charm had dissipated, as the space theme was still thoroughly exciting, the kick-ass choreography was exhilarating, and the new line-up was full of interesting characters.
It was dark, full of adventure, and ushered in a whole new era for the property.
