Every Power Rangers Series Ranked From Worst To Best
17. Power Rangers Megaforce
This show managed to fumble not one, but two unique concepts, those being the pirate inspired visuals, and characters that could morph into previous Power Rangers. This should have been the epic series that highlighted the strengths of every show that came before it. Instead, it just awkwardly got through it's time and moved on.
The first season began as a mundane and bland Rangers outing, which saw the leading line-up gain martial arts skills and generally lacked any distinct visual personality.
However, the next season - Super Megaforce - was where things got interesting, as the Rangers got a fancy aesthetic revamp, and gained the ability to morph into any previous Power Ranger. But overall, the concept was wasted on some lacklustre characters and a threadbare plot.
This was a Rangers series with a real identity crisis, as not only did it rely on previous Ranger concepts, but even the series itself changed drastically between its first and second seasons. While Super Megaforce had some cool factor, the overall lack of consistency brought it down.
