8. Season 1
The first season of Archer will always hold a special place in the hearts of fans, but looking at how far the show has come in over a decade it would be fair to say now that it's not the best. Not because of factors like animation style or pacing; but the development and ticks that we've come to love of certain characters don't exist in the first season.
Then again, the first season display more of the tedium of office politics at a fictional spy agency and that was something lost on the show (naturally) ass it progressed. Episodes like "Diversity Hire" and "The Rock" provide us with hilarious insight into the hubris of the supporting cast, and of course the first season plays host to one of the best episodes in the entire series- "Skytanic".
The entire series of Archer has come a long way since its initial 10 episodes. The show's pace remained the same and its bar for humour stayed consistent, but compare the first season to some of the bolder choices later down the line and it does pale in comparison.
The first season did give us "Danger Zone!" so with that in mind, it's still pure gold.
