Every Season Of Archer Ranked From Worst To Best
7. Season 7
The seventh season marked the last time (so far) that a season of Archer takes place in the "real" world. After being blacklisted by the CIA, the gang moves to Los Angeles and start a detective agency.
What at first feels like case-of-the-week hi-jinks, opens up into a scandalous conspiracy involving Hollywood insurance, blackmail and a surprising amount of the male crew fawning over infamous Hollywood actress Veronica Dean.
The seventh season might be the last to include "variety" as well among its episodes. The main plot line is sandwiched between a few one-off (and sometimes insightful) episodes, including one where Sterling confronts two former bullies from his days at prep school, as well as a conclusion to Sterling's feud with Barry.
There're some excellent guest voices; including Keegan-Michael Key, J.K Simmons and Patton Oswalt to name a few. And their presence isn't wavered in some exciting episodes, including a two-part story involving a siege at a party, and a twisty finale taking place around a Hollywood set and involving Krieger robots.
The ending of the season almost tries to pull a fake-out on us, but low and behold, Sterling is "killed" and what follows is nothing but fantasy.
