Every Season Of Archer Ranked From Worst To Best
5. Season 10
After the season three finale, the idea of sending the Archer characters into space akin to Star Trek was something fan-fiction dreamed of. In the third run of Sterling's coma machinations, the audience and characters are thrust into a whole new world for the tenth season, and boy does it make some bold decisions.
The tenth season borrows and builds off multiple sources in science-fiction pop culture, and returns to the show's old format of a different story every week (nearly). From alien gladiator pits to infectious cabin fever, the tenth season has fun with what it's source material can do.
The real fun lies in the character changes; an ace-pilot Cheryl, who hates her job rings true to the character so much, a rock-monster Pam might be the best thing the show has ever done, and an omnipresent Mallory who can transform into a drunken beam of light makes for some philosophical discussions too. The return of old characters remodeled as robots and bounty hunters is but a cherry on top of a splendid season.
Despite being just as long as any other season of Archer, it is a shame we won't see it again in future seasons.
