Every Season Of Community Ranked Worst To Best
1. Season Three
Season three is, without a doubt, the height of Community. Everything feels right in this third instalment as the whole cast give it their all, the writing staff are on point, and the show itself hits record highs. The ambition is grand, the comedy is side-splitting, and the characters all hit their peak.
Seeing the study group return for the third time set all the best aspects of the series in motion. Troy and Abed were living together, Annie and Jeff's romance was starting to find its legs, and Chang's rise to being the tyrannical leader of the school was the ridiculous story fans needed.
There were some downsides, such as the relegation of Shirley and Pierce to less important roles, but they still got plenty of laughs and time as the season progressed. However, they made up for it completely with the introduction of the "Darkest Timeline", more shifts to different mediums and exciting multiple part episodes.
One final note is that this season houses the classic "Remedial Chaos Theory" outing, which alongside "Modern Warfare" is often touted to be the best episode ever produced by the show. With all those credentials, it's easy to place season three on top.
