Every Season Of Prison Break Ranked Worst To Best
1. Season 1
Not only did the first season have the best 'Prison Break' out of them all, but was ultimately the best season out the five in terms of storylines, character development and drama.
Michael and Lincoln's journey begins with the former constructing a plan, involving an elaborate full body tattoo, to get incarcerated in the same penitentiary as his brother in order to break him out and save him from the electric chair.
Of course, it doesn't prove to be that simple. Despite Scofield's careful, advanced planning, "big school learning" and intelligence, he would learn the hard way, like losing a few of his toes, that "It's Darwin that wins inside walls, not Einstein."
Michael would have to change plans and begrudgingly rope in other inmates to make up the Fox River Eight, including the deplorable pedophile and white supremacist, Theodore 'T-Bag' Bagwell, portrayed brilliantly by Robert Knepper.
Meanwhile on the outside, real estate lawyer and Lincoln's former girlfriend, Veronica Donovan (Robin Tunney) attempts to unravel the Secret Service's conspiracy and find out to the truth about the 'murder' of the Vice President's brother, which Lincoln is falsely imprisoned for.
These opening 24 episodes are jammed packed with thrills and blood spills, as it averaged over 9.2 millions viewers per episode in the United States.
