Every Sex Education Character Ranked Worst To Best

Ola is a perfectly likeable character with a great actor and some funny moments. Yet, despite that, she comes across as bland compared to the rest of the cast. She's got all the right ingredients to be great, but they don't quite come together.

Part of why this is the case comes from the fact that most of her narratives revolve around other people. Sure, it's a show about relationships, but almost every conflict she faces isn't a result of her actions, rather those around her. She always ends up being the catalyst for other characters to develop, but fans haven't seen her do the same.

Another part of why this might be the case is that she doesn't struggle very often. She embraces everything, even concepts that should surprise her. For example, when she realised she was pansexual, she accepted it casually, making the moment feel like a wet blanket rather than a significant discovery for her.

It's great that she takes life so calmly, but it doesn't make her very exciting.
